Design & Art Direction


Pedro is a creative director and graphic designer utilizing research, patterns, and trend forecasting to visually inform the stories that elevate a brand across print and digital platforms. 

From editorial, web, e-commerce, and UX design to conceptualizing still life, retail, and celebrity photography, Pedro has had the opportunity to work creatively with such iconic brands as  Steve Madden, Paper Magazine, Apple Music, Ebony Magazine, Motorola, Scholastic and many others. 

After relocating from his hometown of Chicago, Pedro was trained by some of the industry’s top design professionals including Timothy Samara, Debbie MillmanJames VictoreRichard Wilde, Stefan Sagmeister, and others at  New York City’s highly regarded School of Visual Arts (SVA) earning a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.

Pedro has been called a visual journalist in the media and his topics of interest tend to fall under three verticals: technology, fashion, and food & drink. Pair a developers conference with a best dressed list, bourbon, and some tacos al pastor and it’s a party! 

He can be spotted working on projects in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles but now considers Roanoke, Virginia and the Blue Ridge Mountains his basecamp where he has had the privilege to work for such brands as The Roanoker Magazine,  The Virginia Tourism Corporation's Travel Guide, and Belle's Blooms of Vinton.
